MUNICIPAL ELECTION - NOVEMBER 3, 2009

 

 

Responsible for:

 

      Conducting Federal, State and local elections

      Distribution of petitions for candidates who are interested in running for office

      Distribution of information packets to candidates

      Administering the provisions of Campaign Expense Reporting Laws

      Content and layout of all ballots

      Providing ballots for all 42 polling places

      Recruitment of poll/election workers

      Responsible for Election Day/poll workers

      Training of election/poll workers

      Distribution of all election day supplies to Judges of Elections

      Mailing and processing absentee ballots

      Certification of vote    

 

 

Voter Registration Office

 

 

Responsible for:

 

      Registering new voters

      Change of party at written request

      Change of address at voters request

      Maintaining voter registration records

      Send confirmation mailings to maintain accuracy of voter files

      Process all new registrations, change of parties and change of address filed with

         Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in compliance with PVRA
